Animal Control
The Animal Control Department is here to assist the public with any animal-related problem. We promise to provide the public and animals with the care and respect they deserve. We will assist with sick, injured, stray or unwanted animals. Domestic animals or livestock should not be allowed to run loose and cause a public nuisance, and should be reported promptly. We work with outside agencies to assist with animal adoption and low cost spaying, nuetering, and rabies vaccination clinics. We also work with state departments for testing and reporting animal bites and rabies testing. Educational programs can be arranged for children or citizens on the best way to care for their own pets and how to deal with situations that may arise.
